Designed for comfort and relaxation, the cottage is warm and spacious, featuring double glazing and oil-fired central heating to ensure a cosy atmosphere no matter the season.
With ample room for up to 5 guests (or 6 with the pull-out companion bed), Cathie’s Cottage offers a peaceful haven for families, friends, or couples seeking a getaway. Plus, our pet-friendly policy means your furry companions are welcome to join in the fun, making it the perfect destination for all members of the family.

Pets
Well behaved pets are welcome in this cottage which is fenced and gated. A maximum of 2 pets are allowed at a charge of £15 per pet per week. Owners are requested to bring pet sleeping beds or blankets. Please note that pets are not allowed on the beds or furniture.

Access almost 4 miles of nature trails within Dalvourn Farm from the front door of the cottage which are fenced off from livestock making them safe for walking your dog. Enjoy a peaceful walk through beautiful Highland landscapes. Whether you're walking, jogging, or simply enjoying the fresh air, these trails offer a tranquil escape into nature.
Loch Ness & Urquhart Castle
No visit to Inverness is complete without a trip to the famous Loch Ness. You can explore the waters on a boat tour or visit Urquhart Castle for stunning views and a dose of Scottish history.
Inverness Museum and Art Gallery
Located on Castle Wynd, this museum offers insights into the history and culture of the Highlands, featuring exhibits on geology, natural history, and archaeology. Admission is free, though donations are appreciated.
Clava Cairns
Near Culloden, these ancient Bronze Age burial cairns and standing stones offer a glimpse into prehistoric Scotland. The site is open year-round and is free to visit.
